    Memphis International Airport received several marketing honors at the National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC) Blue Pencil & Gold Screen awards ceremony on June 14.  MEM received 1st Place in both Branding/Rebranding Campaign and E-Newsletter, 2nd Place in the Website Redesign category, and an Award of Excellence in Promotional Campaigns (greater than $100,000) for the "First Team MEM" campaign.

    This week, Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority President and CEO Scott Brockman, Board of Commissioners Chairman Pace Cooper, and new Air Service Research and Development Manager Chip Gentry are attending the Airport Council International-North America’s JumpStart conference in Providence, Rhode Island. The conference allows airports to connect with airlines in a “speed dating” environment: allowing both sides of the air service equation to connect with several potential partners in a relatively short amount of time.
