This evening, Seaport Airlines, based in Portland, Ore., announced that it has ceased all operations, effective today, due to Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings.
Seaport operated out of Memphis International Airport’s (MEM’s) Signature Flight Support and offered service to Harrison and Hot Springs, Ark.
The airline stated that “Customers with tickets on SeaPort Airlines that were purchased with MasterCard or VISA credit cards may apply for a refund through their credit card company. Customers using other credit cards must inquire at their respective credit card companies about refunds.”
The full statement can be found on Seaport’s website.
Scott Brockman, President and CEO of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, said, “All air service is important to our operations at MEM, and we will work to assist these affected cities to maintain their connection to Memphis and the Mid-South.”
