De-Ice Pad(s)  

Project includes design and construction of deice pad(s) for winter operations.&;Includes a cross-field southern connector for improved taxi operations and a bridge structure for Louis Carruthers Drive. Project is currently in design. The Bridges and Site Construction package began construction in 2017. The Airside Construction package will be released in 2019. Click here for sketch.

 As required by the FAA and based upon the guidance of the FAA’s National Environmental Policy Act, the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority recently submitted the Short Form Environmental Assessment (EA) related to this project. This EA has recently been approved by the FAA and a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) has been issued. Both the EA and FONSI can now be reviewed by the public.
