    MEMPHIS, TN – Recent statistics released by the U.S. Department of Transportation show that average air fares continue to drop for passengers of Memphis International Airport (MEM). The statistics reflect average domestic airfare for the 4th quarter 2013 for the top 100 airports (based on 2013 originating domestic passengers).

  • TSA opens expedited screening program

    MEMPHIS, TN — The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Memphis International Airport (MEM) have announced the opening of an application site for TSA Pre✓™, an expedited screening program that allows travelers to leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt, keep their laptop in its case and keep 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels in a carry-on bag. TSA is currently in the process of expanding to more than 300 application centers across the country.
