Frontier Airlines has announced it will begin nonstop service between Memphis International Airport (MEM) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) beginning April 9. The service, which is scheduled to be seasonal, will run four times weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The airline will utilize a 186-seat Airbus 320 aircraft for the flight.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (September 25, 2017) – Fitch Ratings has affirmed the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority’s (MSCAA’s) ‘A’ rating on the authority’s outstanding $282 million general airport revenue bonds (GARBs). The Airport Authority’s outlook remained stable.

Travelers may notice temporary construction walls that have been placed in the B baggage area. Work has begun on a project to replace the baggage carousels in B baggage, which currently serves Delta and Allegiant passengers. All four baggage carousels will be replaced during the project, with construction taking place on two carousels at a time, leaving two operational to accommodate travelers.
